Just who is it who manifactures them poofy hats?
It makes no sense, consider the degree of fashion of Gensokyo with everyone else (humans for example) are typicall pre-Sengoku era perhaps, and it also makes no sense they have the means of making soft cotton fabric like poofy hats which can be worn comfortably. Logic suggest that at the time, people normally wore straw hats.
Imported hats and important wear such as samurai armor is mainly reserved for the big names, and soft hats? don't get me started.

This means, there is at least one already unveiled youkai who has the ability to manipulate hats.

Alice was da vinci. That's why she know cities and countries and she is very artistic. She found out about Gensokyo when she read it in a book, and learned how to pass through the border...and when she passed the border, she got female and young in a instant because Yukari was messing up with the borders again (Yukari: I was bored...Ran got me up... What else was I supposed to do?) So, being a girl, she named herself "alice" because of Alice in wonderland.

The Prismrivers were supposed based on the Prism Rangers. Layla was a fan of Disgaea and in particular really enjoyed the Prism Rangers scenes. When she created the poltergeists she wanted to give theme them after her favorite video game characters. She was very afraid of being sued for copyright so she changed the names and the colors until they were completely different. They soon looked nothing like a Sentai squad but liked the idea of musical poltergeists. The name stuck as Prismrivers since there are probably many other things that happened to have p, r, i, s, m, and r as the first 6 letters.

Well, if nothing else, it's true that Mokou is the man (literally and figuratively wearing the pants) in any relationship. And that is awesome.

Nue's true form is Aya.  This is why you never actually see Aya in UFO despite her being in every game from StB to Soku, and explains why she doesn't react when Sanae says she wants the crow tengu to take a picture of them together, even though she doesn't want her alleged "true form" revealed to the public.

And that brings me to my next stupid theory: Keine is not a were-hakutaku. That's actually a completely different person who, by coincidence, is never seen in the same place at the same time as Keine.
