>Speaking of that, how are we in terms of mass ?

>"No, it's where the Diet meets up!" says Flandre. "They're the people who run this place!"
>You are slim where it counts, and generous where it particularly counts.

> Take a look to the left and see if anything is related to roses.

>Looking in that direction. You can see another mishmash of buildings types. You note there are less traditional buildings you are used to, and more ones made of glass and metal. There are seem to be a preponderance of squarish, small buildings made of clay and wood. Nothing particularly strikes you as rose-themed, nor do any of the signs you can read suggest it. You do end up spending a moment watching something that looks like a rainbow-colored banner with small lizard-like feet lazily flap its way across the sky, though.

>As far as the mansion goes, only Meiling is moreso. You suppose it's not terribly important, but attractiveness is a bonus as far as appearing elegant is concerned.
>"What?" says Flandre.

> "Hmm, nothing I can see to the left seems to be about roses..."
> Check to the right.

>"I don't think it's easy to see, I'm just trying to retrace my steps the last time I came here," says Flandre.
>Looking rightward, you see more buildings made of stone blocks, or at least designed to look like stone blocks, in the case of the more glass and metal buildings. There aren't quite so many taller buildings there, but there are a few. Nothing immediately strikes you as rose-themed, but there are so many things to see there that they kind of run together.

> Nod and follow.

>You follow Flandre around the the plaza, keeping close to the road, but not close enough to worry about carts and such, and soon find another road leading into the left section of the city. As you noted before, there are a number of clay block buildings here, in some cases there are buildings set onto top of others, made accessible by simple ladders. A few buildings of other materials mimic this basic design; some glass and steel ones are exceptionally interesting. A lot of people here seemed to be dressed in tanned hides, decorated in a variety of beautiful colors and designs. You also note a larger number of animal youkai here than elsewhere. Most of the signs are not in a language you know.
>Flandre picks her way through the thoroughfare, dodging around people as well as she can, before turning down an alleyway between a clay block building and what seems to be a traditional teahouse with paper walls. The roar of the crowd is dulled, but echoes here. "Okay, it should be around here..."

> Look up.

>You look up to see a wolf-eared youkai in a dress made of cotton, dyed with bright blue and oragne triangle patterns. After a moment, you wonder if she is not a fox youkai, instead, having blondish brown hair and ears. She sits on the edge of the clay building, letting her feet dangle over the edge, and grins down at you. Her tail wags; it is definitely wolf-like, the same color as her hair.
>"Well?" she says.
