It is not part of Gensokyo, but connected to it in much the same manner that Bhava-Agra is. Or perhaps it is more accurate to say it is connected as Makai is, at a single point at Threshold Mountain. Ah, Youkai Mountain as you would know it."

She withdraws her hands from her sleeves and fetches a piece of paper and inkbrush, and brings to write as she speaks, looking away from you toward her writing. "As I understand it, what has happened to you seems to be akin to dropping a large weight into a half-full bucket. That weight forces the water level upward. So as happened to you; displacing you from your proper point in the flow of time, as it continues to do as we speak. What has caused this, who can say?"
