Yes, I hadn't done that yet. But I've done it now, and honestly it's one the harder extra stages for sure.

Combined StB and DS IL table thread on SDA

Did a short streaming session today and walked away with a decent 10-6 (only 0.02 slower than my best) and a new record for EX-3, 178.26.

After closing the stream I continued to play against EX-Sanae and finally found a solution to the final phase in EX-9, and by doing so cut out about a second again. This is really exciting, as with that sub 44:50 total time was achieved.

PCB Normal No Bombs 1cc! And with the proper amount of starting lives set this time around. Seven misses here, at least two of which were incredibly dumb and completely avoidable (like hesitating when autocollecting items during Resurrection Butterfly, then going for the POC anyway and ramming the bullets that spawned in the meantime), so it's pretty much on par with my EoSD effort. And I did it on my first try! To think this game used to cause me so much trouble...

congratz. if you ask me, SFN is THE spell to time out, even though it's been done in abundance here. I still had no luck with my 90 fps attempts :V I might have to close on Vee's number of tries on this spellcard before I successfully reach the 0 seconds. best spell.

I don't know the exact number since I have a score.dat with everything unlocked on it since I'm too lazy to unlock everything myself, and the previous player attempted it a good number of times. It was definitely 250 when I started trying it yesterday and currently reads 1/343. I'd estimate it at more than that, though, since some attempts were done on the old file.

But yeah, it was weird. I'd given up on it since I couldn't seem to read the card worth anything (as in, I'd never gotten under 30 seconds before yesterday) and then just kind of randomly started on it. 20 attempts or so in, I get it to 10 seconds before getting clipped, which was all the motivation I needed to finally finish the thing.

I just 1cced Aya's story on Normal, cleared Yuka's story on Normal, and beat Extra with Komachi in PoFV. Just Eiki left to do and I've beaten PoFV with every character. This also means I've beaten the Extra mode of every one of the Windows games (excepting StB's Extra and PCB's Phantasm). I can't believe how much I've done with the series and I'm still nowhere near done.

So, I started trying to tackle UFO Lunatic. I mean, I used a continue on stage 3, and I entered stage 4 with .5 lives. But I kept rolling on with that second credit and reached Byakuren (never mind it was my first time ever seeing Stage 4).

That's a 1/1 history on Byakuren's first card. I can totally do this.
Maybe this 1cc is overdue...

Yay! Been about three weeks since I started playing Touhou with an intention to actually clear and improve and not just credit feed and I'm having a blast! Finally cleared MoF Extra with Reimu!

But it also means that I'll probably have to go back to working on my SA Normal 1cc now. D:

Alice solo clear (hard) somehow, even though it was worse than most of the non-clears. Sakuya remains for all shots. Where did Alice learn to shoot anyway? And why has Sakuya forgotten her amazing shots from PCB?

I had started doing that long ago (sometime in September), but had stopped when Sakuya, Alice and Marisa were missing. I have just done them ~3 days ago, because why not. Sakuya is actually easier than Alice, but takes longer to kill things. Iirc I ended up timing out Hourai Jewel. :V

Sakuya done! That's everything for IN,MoF,TD aka the easy set. You're right, Sakuya wasn't that bad (I'll forgive her). I was mostly scared about Reimu's first non (:ohdear:). And the Hourai Jewel performance here was better than normal which further goes to show that having bombs in stock horribly diminishes my ability to focus on dodging stuff.

1DNB Suwako. I died on her final non after the rain card because I still don't know how to auto-collect and then run down to the bottom without making the whole thing a huge mess to dodge. Still, it might as well be a perfect in my book.

And if I ever do figure out scoring in MoF Extra, I guess I'll have to perfect Suwako anyway, so maybe I'll get an actual actual one later. I'm fine with this for now though.

Got a 1-death run of PCB Lunatic stage 4, featuring a NM2B Prismrivers fight. Said death was a run-straigth-into-a-bullet-with-full-bombs kind of death, but whatever.

Not much of an accomplishment, but given how I (uselessly) raged at PCB recently, I'll take it.
Also, MarisaA is amazing. Who needs bombs when you can spam borders ? :3
