Hmm, I recently revived my interest in EoSD, and found out I have good chances of perfecting its Extra. Few hours ago I almost perfected Flan's fight (died at QED when she was exploding, though I'd already died at Royalflare somehow), and tried no-bombs again, and only died at Starbow Break and QED. QED will ruin many of my runs for sure, but still, most of her shit is already trivial for me. :3

IN: Normal (A + B) + Hard (A) + Extra
MoF: Normal + Extra
SA: Only fails
UFO: Only fails
TD: Hard

And today I beat Suwako-chan, her last spell lacks the increasing pressure that I think that the 2 extra bosses' last spell that I have seen until now have (Ran and Mokou), also it looks easy, the first time that I reach it I beat it using only one life (or maybe it's the despair power since I was without lifes

)

After 1ccing EoSD Normal with ReimuB (about damn time) and making it to Counter Clock for the first time (if I didn't lose two lives to Maze of Love, I would have gotten at least to her survival), I tried PCB Extra with MarisaA.
And thus I achieved my second Extra clear. Onwards to Phantasm!

Oh bugger all, I can't open it either. Well, we're either going to need to find a new hosting site (Royalflare is less usable) or we all get Dropbox. If the website's doomed forever, then our choices are so. If it isn't we will have to wait until then and keep our replays on file.

On another note, Winds Blowing Down From Mt. Ooe timeout on Lunatic with ReimuA. I'll record it tomorrow or whenever I feel like it (Same with PCB Lunatic, UFO Hard, TD Hard, and a whole bunch of other stuff).

I swear, if ever I'd wanted to save an MB replay, it would be here. Let me count the reasons...and bear in mind, this is all during a 1CC attempt and without Reimu's hitbox...

Captured The Eight Million Laughing Gods
Captured A Fantasy's Transience
Captured Breaking Critical Point for the first time ever
Ended with FIVE LIVES IN STOCK, which would have been impressive if I'd been playing Reimu, never mind Marisa.

Well I've been on an on-off TD binge today, so here's a list:

First off:

Sigh duh. It would only take a few attempts after a break to actually figure out a good way to do this card. Doesn't mean I can do it consistently, but at least I know how. I also captured pretty much every other Overdrive today (by the way, Futo's and Yuyuko's Overdrive was near BS. I still have no idea how to do them consistently other than pray for the RNG to play nice) to have finally captured all TD cards on Lunatic + the Overdrive cards! Well that's PCB and TD down... I doubt this will be an objective for me though. I'll just let it sit as a sort of side curiosity or something.

I also got a 2MNB TD stage 5 (death to the very last part of the stage, which I haven't figured out how to do properly and to Futo's second non-spell), which I'm satisfied with for now. I'm fairly uninterested in grinding the stage some more. I'll come back for it later.
Also figured out how to perfect TD stage 4's stage portion, which I can do more or less consistently now, and an overall 2NMB Seiga fight (deaths to her first spell card and second non-spell), which I'm sure I can improve on with some more effort.

Also for UFO, more 1MNBs of both Kogasa and Ichirin. Ichirin to her opener (please shoot me) and Kogasa to PSM. I still haven't found a good way to do it other than cheesing it somehow.

I guess I might aim for some more perfects, given how there are only a few attacks that really stonewall me in some stages. Even still, grinding through stuff you've seen many times does get boring rather quickly.

Meh, ghosting and too fast controls made for a run meant a lot of irritating mistakes but whatever. It's done. Maybe I should clear other Extras at this speed. I dunno, maybe.

A lot of the run went pretty okay though so I think I'll throw this up on Youtube I guess.

After deciding to stage practise UFO stage 5 on normal and utterly failing, I somewhat half-heartedly started another 1cc attempt with SanaeB. The result? Beat Murasa with 7 lives and Shou with 6 (bombspam really really helps!). Then on stage 6, I lose two lives at the beginning, reach Byakuren with 4/5 or 4/6 or so and beat her on the first attempt that made it past the butterfly spell. Would have finished 2/0 or 2/1, but a double kill on Flying Fantastica knocked me down to 1/2.
Whatever! 1cc is 1cc, so I'm happy, even though my captures in the second half of the game were limited to whatever Murasa's first is called + Good Omen in Purple Mist + butterfly spell. It's really true, the more you bomb, the better the run turns out. Now if only I got that into my head for PCB!
_{also woo 43/43 nazrin pendulum capture rate, but then I have 32/36 for reimuA from back when I used her =/}

Anyway, the only normal 1cc's left for me are IN 6A (which isn't exactly my highest priority) and EoSD which will take a while since I don't play it that often. On the other hand, I now have 4 extras open (well, 3 extras and 1 phantasm) so there's still plenty of stuff to do before I tackle hard mode.

If you've cleared so many Normal modes, don't worry about completion, just move on to Hard. If you feel like what you're doing isn't challenging enough there is literally no reason no to move up to something harder.

Yeah, it's not much. Oh, and something recent: I just managed to get past Koishi's first spell for the first time, then blindly managing to get to Embers of Love. I managed to capture Danmaku Paranoia, Release of the Id and the polygraph thing on that first try. Youtube really makes them out to be a lot harder than they are it seems.

Got off my ass and 1cced PCB (Reimu B) and IN (Magic team) on Easy. I knew I could, I just didn't feel like doing it. I've now 1cced everything (save for EoSD) on easy. Now to do it with every combination, already did that with SA.

warmly wait until I did it on 90 fps. mainly to get used to the movement speed. plus it's a fun card. like one of the best, so why the hell not :V though, 50 seconds was the best I managed, so...it might be a while :'D

Today seems to be extra progress day for me: reached Genetics of the Subconscious twice, Wild Deserted Island once and Shikigami "Ran Yakumo" on the first try that made it past Light/Darkness (and the second try past Reality/Dreams). I didn't even play well during Yukari's battle, capturing only Spriting Away and a few of her nonspells, so there's a load of room for improvement. Meanwhile, I'm getting more and more consistent at Koishi (I could probably capture everything before GotS), but the stage is ever annoying. Now to try Nue and see if I can do well there too!

And congrats Yaty. Koishi is the hardest boss at the first tries, but she's very static, so after you beat her like 10 times she becomes as easy as Yukari, who usually is easier but is much more random. Despite I having perfected her with Reimu-A, my Marisa-C history (who I used for my first clear) has 100+ on Sanae's spellcard history. :V

Reached Sanae 200 times (I think the count was like 187-ish, wutever). I've only captured her first spell about 57 times. Mostly from trying to get the pattern down. I have no idea how many times I failed at the beginning part. Around 250? Probably.
