Oh, I toyed with the notion of just ending the story right there, but I still have a couple more jokes I want to do in the Catness storyline. Including the very last two panels ... :3

Well, she's beaten "a boss" (the Catness effect), so she's automatically collecting all the items (including danmaku and other effects converted into point-items). This happens in every game after an end-of-stage boss fight.
