I remember him through the Mafia games.  Midway through one game he decided to stop trying and start griefing.  He attempted to start the next game like that too but got the hook before that went too far.  I don't think he was any better elsewhere on the board.

It's all hard to stomach, honestly. I don't disagree with the ejection at all, but I think i'm feeling closer along the lines that Squidtentacle is. Videogamer wasn't just executed, but he's been tied to a chariot to be dragged around town so others can take amusement from trumpeting his wretched existence. It's just not something I can be a part of and enjoy, it makes me feel dirty to be honest.  :X

Though as my sentiment appears to be the stark minority, and no one likes the moral high horse, i'll bow out of this debacle and let y'all have your fun.

I don't see how the appeals thread changes anything. And don't misrep my stance as 'feeling sorry for him', either. I don't, really. What gets me is seeing the uglier side of people that comes out when they perceive it acceptable to treat someone as a non-entity.

It's this same human trait that results in bullying, racism, sexism, and any amount of human rights violations. A group judges someone as an acceptable target for any and all malice sent their way. Even in a minor and inocuous situation like this one, it depresses me.

I don't think you understand how long we've been dealing with him, and how many times he's been banned previous to this final "last time".  Hell, we fucking gave him another shot despite him bandodging 5 times, and it turned up to be the same stupid poster he was over a year ago.

Because he claimed he was a good poster and that we needed to give him one last chance, when it's obvious he's been doing the same shit for years all across the Internet and has yet to learn his lesson.  There is absolutely nothing wrong with doing a background check on a repeat offender, especially one that has more than enough convictions against him to get him banned several times.

Maybe if he was banned from one or two other sites you could blame the moderation for hating him, but he's been banned from over a dozen sites, for the same reasons each and every time.  Ignoring the rules and stickies and posting garbage anyways, getting called out by staff and then getting hostile with them and getting banned for it, then choosing to bandodge and either make threats or plead incessantly to be let back in and given "one more chance".

I don't see a problem with people laughing at him over a background check since he pretty much deserved it as far as I can tell, but assigning him an impossible challenge just so everyone can find yet another reason to mock him is kind of a dick move. Why couldn't he just have been perma-banned without being exploited? That just kind of struck me as maliciously intended when I read this thread.
