> Follow that Flan.

>You step inside! It's kind of a curious feeling, stepping onto a moving floor from a non-moving one, but you keep your balance. Inside the car, you can see the walls are lined with cuhsioned benches, and there poles in the middle of the room. One person, a short, slight woman stands there, holding onto the pole for balance. Flandre makes her way to the back of the car, where there are no windows behind the seats, and plops down.
>"Nothing to it," she says with a grin.

> Have a seat next to the Young Mistress.

>You have seat; the bench at least is comfortable enough, though a bit flattened with likely years of use. Looking around the car, you can see the interior is a lot more utilitarian than its outside. However, you do notice some scrollwork on the edges here the ceiling meets the wall, depicting a kind of tessellated pattern of shiisa playing and wrestling. The car continues forward. You note a pole outside, just past the fence. You hear the door catch on it as you go past, and just as you start to wonder if it one or the other is going to break, the door suddenly springs ahead and slams closed; the edge of the door you note is padded to keep the slam from being too loud. You also think you got a glimpse of some rollers inside of a track guiding the door?
>"It's slower than flying," says Flandre, as the car starts to lift up."But if you're not able to fly, or just tired or have a lot to carry, there's nothing better."

>"Don't worry, it'd take something big to keep the Moriyas from building this thing," says Flandre.
>The car continues to lift, and peeking out the windows you can see the tops of the trees from the forest. It is kind of odd, sitting down and moving upward. Honestly just moving on your own is unusual, you've seldom gotten to ride a cart or anything like that.

>Take it easy.

>You relax and watch the mountain go by though the window.
>The forest glides by, a tree at a time. Every so often, you see another car pass by on the left; they are carved into ravens, dragons, tigers, cats, and various fish. Soon you pass over the lower regions of the mountain, as the car angles upward some more. Every so often it sways slightly, which is worrying at first, but you soon get used to it. Looking down, you can see the river below, as well as the ponds and marshes where the kappa live. Their houses are hard to pick out at this height, covered with mud and leaves as they are, but you can see a few larger warehouses, and a fairly sizable building on the northern bank of the river. Then you continue further upward, as the car begins a steeper climb, with a view of the waterfall to the left. After some time, you can see the tall, thin buildings of the tengu village; you find yourself wondering if anything has changed there; at a glance it seems largely the same. Tengu fly about, some of them fairly close to the car itself. You start to suspect they are brightly colored to discourage people from crashing into them.
>The other passengers keep to themselves; two townswomen gossip about how their mutual neighbor's well is a disgrace, as are their awful children. The other two keep to themselves, watching the scenery. Flandre seems to be spacing out. Soon you can see another pagoda ahead, as people start to stand up and shuffle toward the door.

> Follow the Young Mistress out.

>You didn't get too much information. Apparently she is around the city of Haihan, and has vowed to take over the world or some such? Reimu mentioned she might end up sending out her shrine maiden to handle the problem.
>You watch a hook pass by the car, and catch the door, sliding it open. The other passengers file out, followed by Flandre and then yourself. You step out onto another pagoda fairly similiar to the one that you embarked from, and have to take a moment to get used to the ground not moving under you. Off to the left, you can see the Moriya Shrine. You've never really visited it, only passed it on your way to Bhava-Agra during the Scarlet Weather incident, but it look largely like what you remember. A cobblestone road leads to the shrine, and around; a sign on the side road says, "To Apex." There are a few stands set up along the side of the road, selling foodstuffs and souvenirs, run by various tengu. There's a fair crowd at the Moriya Shrine, predominantly tengu, but you can pick out some other Youkai as well.

>You leave the Pagoda and take to the air. Flandre opens her parasol and follows after you.
>Unlike the other routes you have taken since leaving the forest, this particular one seems to be free of other travelers. You continue higher and higher upward. Clouds gather overhead, and you fly through them without worry. You look around, but don't see any signs of oarfish or other guardians. Then, above, you catch a glimpse of an island floating in the air.

>Glancing down, all you see is a parasol chasing after you. But it is probably a good sign.
>You make your way around the edge of the island, breaking through the clouds. Peach trees over the island, and you can see a few people wearing floating shawls moving among them. Vibrant green grass covers the floor, without a hint of weeds or underbrush. You can see a small house on one side of the island, in the middle of a peach tree grove, and you suspect there may be more of them secreted further in.
