Currently thinking we should also offer Aya to come along for the fusion investigation ride, to give her first crack at the story about that if/when we succeed. That should help smooth things over and might pursuade her to leave us alone.

I don't think we should offer this until after she's agreed to something else to avoid being eaten, though.
