Say what you will about building on top of a ravine, but I think the notion of a Yukari-inspired travel headquarters centered above a gap is pretty funny.

I hereby open (and i use this term very loosely) up Calm Valley Resort (name temporary and probably subject to change) for interested builders.

Basically, i found a nice quiet little place, built a house there and then realized that there was loads of space left. So what i have done is that i have flattened some areas and put up some signs. These signs indicate the spots where you can build your small-medium sized house/cottage. Building spots are located on both low and high ground. While these spots are preferred to build on, you can also build on any other area there as you see fit.

In short, i built in a cool place, so come here and build cool houses to make it can look even better.

Updates on my end.

The Graveyard and crypt are in a state of mostly complete.
The Mill is finished.
The Mine got an upgrade.
Constructed an area to import the Prison.
Plans for elemental shrines have taken place of my previous idea of building giant video game swords.

Uh, so the livemap and server list within MC are ok for our server, however, if I try to join, I get a connection timeout error. What's going on?

I have completed my second project, MUSIC! You can find it in the flat world. The song involved 754 noteblocks and 303 repeaters, and took approximately 12 hours to complete. (didn't help that I messed it up along the way, which it's fixed and perfect now) Go enjoy it!

Made two things today:
- Another AFK Express in flatworld. Goes up and down to Y64 and has a nice little hang at the end, but please, 1 active cart per track at a time! Despite the installation of safeguards (after several accidents that arose from non-standard operation) to keep the cart from falling, deaths resulting from such will be on the rider's liability solely.
- Semi-automatic mob room inside the spawn ravine. Basically it's a 29 x 29 x 4 dark room with 4 entrances (one of which has signs leading to it from surface level) with the surrounding areas rather well-lit to maximise spawning. Result is that it'll often be loaded with hostiles, making it a good stop for XP and drops. And by loaded, I mean a lot:

DISCLAIMER: Yes an Xray mod was used here, for the sake of clarity. As for flight and :V-mining in gameplay, well, they are reserved for joke and special situations, and are not used in general play.

A classic. Strafe managed to do this upon imports. It's in the Miko Tavern in Haku Town, but don't touch it. You can't sleep in it, but don't go destroying it. It's too hilarious to look at. :V

EDIT: Also, Stuffman, I read up on another server that on the same day we had issues connecting, they had the same problem, the "Failed to identify username" screen. (one of my earlier posts) Apparently it was on Mojang's end, and it's been fine for a while now, so you should be able to turn that option back on if needed.

Since I haven't had any requests to import structures from our previous two worlds in quite some time, I think it's time to finally delete the old worlds from the server. I wrapped up some loose ends for a few players, and imported my fancy stuff into Flatworld.

Anyway, this doesn't mean that schematic imports have ceased completely. As usual, I still have access to all of our previous worlds offline, so I can take care of any future requests if need be. Unfortunately, from this point forward, I can no longer guarantee that the chests will keep their contents. Not that it matters terribly too much. Most of the important structures have already been handled or have a planned workaround.

Hit me up sometime if you remember anything of old that you would like brought back. I'll be happy to oblige. (to the best of my ability and memory :V)

Well, it's a spider spawner in my ravine. I'm revealing its location for everyone's use. Unlike EP's, I only intended this for EXP and not so much the loot.

...assuming anyone will use this or even pay attention to it. Just hit whatever spiders come to the window and take the loot and EXP by the stream to the right of the window. The problem with the spiders, though, is that they like to bunch up just beneath the window, and only one will come up at a time through the peephole.

Yeah, the duper has been off. :V I keep a careful eye on that. Once that thing is abused like that, I'm taking it down. (plus, if it was the duper's fault, we would have lagged out horribly first)

It shouldn't. We had an incident before where someone left it running and it just lagged out everyone, but the server never crashed. Eventually we were able to turn it off, but all the sand was making it impossible. So yeah, a crash from that thing, especially since mine only uses two rows, will take a while to happen.

Quick question about XP storage and 1.3 - while the current 800XP limit is great for now, in 1.3 one just needs 825XP to get to the maximum Lv30 (compared to current 1725XP). I wonder if the limit can be increased to that 1.3 amount?
