Title: Which character do you act/look like?
Post by: Marin The Magus on August 28, 2010, 02:10:28 AM: I created this thread so you could tell us what character you most act or look or think like. When you post, you put the character AND the reason, because if not I'll kill you for leaving me curious about it.
Although I'd like to say that I most act like Maribel, Shikieiki is the character that would describe me best. All the days, we are talking in the school, someone has a problem, and I'm always like "Well, let's try to be neutral about this" And I usually end up listening to everyone and creating a solution for the problem. I find myself telling my friends things like "You know what it is, right? It's called to manipulate somebody. And its usually seen as something bad in the society" And "Greed will only take you to more greed. Wrath will take you to more wrath. Why? it's just the vicious cycle of the man..." But the only good thing about acting like Shikieiki is that I can win any argument with my friends because they get driven by anger and they say things they don't want to and I'm as calm as always xD

anyway, I look like Rinnosuke, because we are both guys, we both wear glasses, we both have brown hair (I think he does...), and we both like technology.

but I'd have to say that I'm sort of like a cross between Alice, Shinki, and... idk, really. Alice because both of us are sort of lonely. I have plenty of online friends, but only one in real life. Shinki because I have this entire world inside my head, and I hope for it to become a reality via a videogame franchise one day. that's sort of like how Shinki created makai, right? probably.

I can't really think of a character that describes me the most. I'll probably come up with it when I'm paying more attention to it.

If I were to be put into Gensokyo I'd definitely want to amass in technology and sell it. I'd have a much better chance at surviving since I'd just be a mere human and accessing the power of magic would either A: Be forever beyond me because I am an outside world human or B: Take training to learn. So I'd take it the easy way and just sell stuff like Rinnosuke does. Either that or just become a random human in the human village doin' what it takes to get by.

For looks, I am closest to reimu because we both are girls with relatively long dark hair. This works out pretty well because I plan to cosplay her next anime boston~

For personality.. hmm.. I am like Youmu. We are both very eager to please, loyal, and pretty smart though some things go completely over our heads. We both like to try our hardest on everything we do. I also think swords are pretty badass.

Relatively more of a night person, actions indicate charisma, tend to break out of said charisma by a single comment, hold a lot of pride towards oneself, and not exactly fond to being treated as an inferior. Physically, rather pale, somewhat short-ish long hair with a simple wave to it, and a look from the eyes that indicates a sense of authority and power.

That's just about right. I'm pretty sure they're pronounced the same because I use the English pronunciation, and people always spelled my name wrong on accident when I was a kid, but...

And... I'm not sure. See, I know he's had (cheap) wine and beer, but not sure about sake. We've all been meaning to give it a shot one day.

Satori, for the longest time I would unconsciously copy and mimic various people's personality traits. I'm not like that as much, but its still sorta there.

yamaxandu, I can be very judgemental at times. sometimes its in a siki way, other times, its in a closed minded, reimu way.

rin satsuki, people have walked straight into me without knowing I was there.

I always have a camera in my hand, always boisterous and outgoing, a wild streak that shows no signs of ever stopping, and definitely an arrogant, flirtatious attitude in photographer-mode.

Without the camera, though, I'm Yumemi in behaviour. Still outgoing, still cocky, but still friendly and nice-- with a hint of mad scientist thrown in there.

I've got it, Sakuya! During the pre-boss banter with Marisa in EoSD she goes from a creepy smile to an unamused face like five times. And someone who has more knives than QVC can't be that stable. And she comes off as pretty intelligent and practically runs the SDM and yet she tried to open a window in the middle of space.

I'm not the most physically active person in the world (although I'm not unhealthy, even if I am a bit on the thin side). The people who are close to me, I'm very close to. Mh...That's right. But well, maybe you are %50 jealous and %50 elegant xD It's hard for some people to see who they are most like because it's not easy to decide which one is your best quality (or the adjective that describes you the most) and then to see which touhou has that quality too.
Anyway, it's normal not being sure of this. If it's necessary, ask the others what they think about you (It's faster and easier ??)

Definitely possible, but it could be hard if you wanted it to have any... ehhh... let's say 'real merits' because I can't think of a better way to put it. Y'know, weed out most/all-if-possible 'leading' answers that basically flat-out say, "Hey, I'm (Reimu, Yuuka, etc.)!".

Sounds like it could be a pretty damn interesting project, though.

Definitely possible, but it could be hard if you wanted it to have any... ehhh... let's say 'real merits' because I can't think of a better way to put it. Y'know, weed out most/all-if-possible 'leading' answers that basically flat-out say, "Hey, I'm (Reimu, Yuuka, etc.)!".

Sounds like it could be a pretty damn interesting project, though.

It would probably be best executed with one of those systems with a few answers that point you to a lot of possibilities. Like that one DnD test that gives you a level, class, and alignment.

I always theorized (being off topic for a while) that Mei Ling is a martial artist when she was human and got too into martial arts (as per Journey to The West style stories) and became a youkai by dwelling to deeply into 'forbidden martial arts and polluting the mind and eventually the soul' so I guess, who knows?

having said that, I think I carry a lot of 'servitude' behavior in my person, but to say I am Sakuya is definitely not correct as I do not have the attentive loyalty to stick with one lord.
Perhaps that being said, someone may propose a person of Gensokyo to match my nature.

I cannot imagine myself as Eirin, Sakuya or even Reisen or Youmu. They are all too loyal, therefore making me wonder, is there a person who answers to a lord/mistress, but not exactly doing as they wish in all aspects? I think Iku is but I can't place my finger on her.

I look at the people in my life that have come and gone, drifting in and out of my life, and it makes me feel like it's because I've been wandering through life with my third eye partially shut. Never making more than shallow connections with people.

Reasons for Satori: Introverted, cats galore, empathetic and hates it (so much that I deny it), a heart so wide open that actual relationships with others only end in pain. Etc.

Then again I just woke up and can't really think of a character indifferent to everything+other traits at the moment, so it's a best guess/it's a longshot/it's probably bullshit. Alice? Maybe?

Mostly isolating myself from others I then might get horrendeous jealous, which makes me somewhat unpredictable, maybe a little insane, getting complexes and being a jerk to others when it comes to that. I think this is an unhealthy combination.

technically, NEET just means you're not employed or in any sort of education or training. the shut-in stereotype that the word is associated with doesn't really have anything to do with the meaning of the word itself.

I do get annoyed and angered easily by certain things, so yeah. And just what is "half-baked"? I know it's used in her character titles, but I have no clue what it means.

Heh. Poor Youmu. Master's gone, no one could teach her TT-TT...And Yuyuko wasn't really a good example of how to live her life. She isn't even a good example of how to live xD

Hmm... The clothing seems like something contemporary Byakuren'd wear... But her hair doesn't seem particularly 'dark' brown to me (leaving out gradient-ness, of course) to me. Eh, let's say Byakuren.

Actually, since she is a stage 1 boss, it would be even easier to have at least met her once.

Personally, I use Wriggle as Team 9's Straight Man.

Really, who the straight man is really just depends on the people involved and the interpretation of whoever's doing the joke. Reimu has a lot of straight man qualities, I guess.
